Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Attwood Marine seven and a half pound grapnel metal folding anchor for personal watercrafts, dinghies, and even small boats. Has a galvanized finish to it. Now this is a seven and a half pound anchor, so it's a perfect size for your personal watercraft, dinghies, and even small boats. This one is a four fluke grapnel anchor, which will grip securely in mud, sand, gravel, or rock. And it gives you a reliable hold without the hassle of a full size anchor.

And they call it a grapnel anchor because it's a compact, folding anchor that's very easy to stow away and make it a smart choice for boats with limited storage space. Weighing just seven and a half pounds, this anchor is easy to carry and quick to deploy, whether you're just heading out solar with friends and it offers a lockable design, keeps it secure in both open and closed positions. So the setup and storage is always straightforward. Right now you can see it's in the open position. If you want to close it, you'll just turn this right here and line these parts sticking out with the slots.

Raise that all the way up so it's out of the way. And then you just fold right up against there. And once you get 'em all folded up, then you'll just slide this down over them. And again, slide those slots over those things sticking out. Just turn it to where it won't come up and it's locked it into place.

So now it's ready for storage. It is built from a heavily galvanized, malleable arm. So this anchor's ready for season after season of use on the water, and it is tough enough for rocky or rough conditions yet simple to pack away after a day of exploring. And then again, to open it, just turn this until it lines up. Open it up, the flukes will all drop down, and then drop this collar all the way down over there.

Twist it again to where they don't line up and it'll hold it in the open position. Simple as that. Again, it's a four fluke grapnel, the weight's seven and a half pounds.
