I originally wanted to upload this as a 6hour playthrough, but my ISP isn't very suppotive of uploading a 16GB video file to the video pot-pourri :(
Anyway, this 4-part video shows the complete and live playthough of a loose trilogy of adventure games developed by System Sacom for Sega consoles, sometimes referred to as "The butterfly trilogy" all connected by the themes of consciousness, reincarnation and the occult. And butterflies. Lots of 'em.

I'd like to have a conclusion of Anthony's bearing over the earlier games, that is - is he actually The Hunter, or is he the "Australian" butterfly collector in Yumeni mystery mansion? I'm betting on hunter.The mansion is a replacement for the city of moons as a refuge for those unwilling to face the hardship of reality, i feel that Anthony/hunter created the mansion after the city of moons was destroyed and i presume he is immune to the amnesia as a result of him being a practicing magician, as suggested by his studies on nature.

likewise i'm also betting that fred is the painter butterfly who appears in the two other games, of course louise isn't in the mansion since she died in the real world, like Samantha did.(perhaps the flowers in the basement in Yumeni contain the souls of Louise and Samantha?)
So what the voices are inconsistant between recurring characters? Because the western locallizations were handeled by sega for the saturn games but the mega cd's western dub was contracted by vic tokai instead. (Which might not explain the near-identical titles of the USA release.)
I'm not sure if jossie is the same character as the tavern girl in yumeni, i note that her room doesn't vanish like the other rooms do after jonathan get the crystal from the tea room, also note the magician's role assigned to that is assigned to the games room.

I'm assuming that mikes fate is similar to that of fred in that he lost touch with the mansion/city of moons dreamworld and awoke to the real world, what might be suggested is that jossie and jun are anticipating mikes return to the mansion possibly in the same way as fred was able to return to the city of moons - perhaps a 4th story/game was considered to take place 4 years later in which mike returns to the mansion in the way samantha and jonathan did.
