On Friday 25th June 1999 a B747-219 farewell flight marked the final demise of the role of Flight Engineers within T.E.A.L. / Air New Zealand.

Thus ended an historic era in New Zealand's commercial aviation spanning almost 60 years.

This slideshow has been produced from a bunch of old 120 format negative film photos that Peter Allen has recently made available in time to commemorate the 20 year anniversary.
