Stripers on Bucktails with John Skinner | Striper Season Update Ep. 33

In Week 7 of the 14-week video series, OTW Assistant Editor spoke with Long Island fishing author, YouTuber and mentor, John Skinner about spring run stripers, and John's favorite lure... the bucktail.

John talks about the many applications of bucktail jigs, trailers and jig strips, and the differences between fishing for stripers on Long Island's north and south shores. He breaks down the characteristics of a bucktail which he finds most conducive to bass fishing around his home waters of the Long Island Sound and Peconic Bay, while covering some of the action he's seen since his return from Florida last week.
