Yerevan is the oldest inhabited city in the world. Wars, earthquakes and Soviet rule have left their mark on the city. There are few reminders of the old city as almost all of the central part of Yerevan was reconstructed during the Soviet Union.

Yet, right in the centre of the city is a district that has barely changed over the decades. An area that divides the residents of Yerevan. It is the area known as Kond. Walking through this area, one could almost forget they were in Yerevan.
