Enjoy them for breakfast or as a quick snack. (As Aussies we love them with a little vegemite on top, or even a scoop of jam - yum yum!)

500 g potatoes / 1.1 lb
30 g salted butter / 1 oz
1 cup self raising flour / 150 g / 5.3 oz
