Sint-Amands is een dorp in de Belgische provincie Antwerpen en een deelgemeente van Puurs-Sint-Amands. Sint-Amands ligt op de rechteroever van de Schelde. Het grondgebied van deze deelgemeente heeft de vorm van een vijfhoek, en wordt langs 3 zijden omgeven door de Vlaamse provincie Oost-Vlaanderen. Sint Amands is een oud dorp waarvan zeker weten dat het al in de negende eeuw bestond. Er zijn echter geen gebouwen of andere bewijzen uit deze periode bewaard gebleven. Het oudste gebouw in het dorp is de Sint-Amanduskerk uit de zeventiende eeuw. Verder zijn er nog enkele buizen uit de zeventiende en achttiende eeuw te vinden. Mede hierdoor kun je een goed beeld krijgen van hoe het dorp er vroeger moet hebben uitgezien. De mooiste huizen van het dorp zijn te vinden aan de Kerkstraat.

ENG.Sint-Amands is a village in the Belgian province of Antwerp and a borough of Puurs-Sint-Amands. Sint-Amands is located on the right bank of the Scheldt. The territory of this municipality has the shape of a pentagon, and is surrounded on 3 sides by the Flemish province of East Flanders. Sint Amands is an old village which is certain to have existed as early as the ninth century. However, no buildings or other evidence from this period have survived. The oldest building in the village is the Sint-Amandus church from the seventeenth century. There are also some pipes from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Partly because of this, you can get a good idea of how the village must have looked in the past. The most beautiful houses in the village can be found on Kerkstraat.

FR. Sint-Amands est un village de la province belge d'Anvers et une banlieue de Puurs-Sint-Amands. Sint-Amands est situé sur la rive droite de l'Escaut. Le territoire de cette commune a la forme d'un pentagone et est entouré sur trois côtés par la province flamande de Flandre orientale. Sint Amands est un vieux village dont on sait qu'il a existé au IXe siècle. Toutefois, aucun bâtiment ou autre preuve de cette période n'a été conservé. Le plus ancien bâtiment du village est l'église Sint-Amandus du XVIIe siècle. Il y a aussi quelques tuyaux des XVIIe et XVIIIe siècles. C'est en partie pour cette raison que vous pouvez vous faire une bonne idée de l'aspect que devait avoir le village dans le passé. Les plus belles maisons du village se trouvent dans la Kerkstraat.

Sint Amands è un antico villaggio che è noto per essere esistito nel IX secolo. Tuttavia, non si sono conservati edifici o altre prove di questo periodo.
