How to play Portal 2 in VR (Easy Set up guide)

A quick guide on how to set up Portal 2 for VR.

Your Portal folder should be in: steamlibrary\steamapps\common\Portal 2
VR settings folder: steamlibrary\steamapps\common\Portal 2\VR

Step 2 copy & paste: -insecure -window -novid +mat_motion_blur_percent_of_screen_max 0 +mat_queue_mode 0 +mat_vsync 0 +mat_antialias 0 +mat_grain_scale_override 0 -width 1280 -height 720

***UPDATE: If your Laser/Aiming isn't working correctly, it's because of Portal 2's latest update. You can roll it back to get the perfect mod again, Rollback file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/11LFq...

Copy the contents of this zip file to your game folder ("\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Portal 2")

This will rollback your game to Build 11097438 (April 26, 2023)
Laser Pointer, Gun Effects, and loading into Turret Production level is fixed.

If you want to play the updated version of the game again, just verify your game files with Steam.

If you want to play in flatscreen (Not VR), you either have to uninstall the mod OR use the optional plugin to disable it.

HOW TO UNINSTALL (ONLY IN LATEST VERSION 0.20 & ABOVE):
Just double click- Uninstall_Portal_2_VR_Mod.cmd
Which is located in-
SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Portal 2

HOW TO UNINSTALL (VERSION 0.15 & BELOW):
Delete all the files you pasted. You can double check the mod zip again to see which files.

If you have issues, try:
Uninstalling & reinstalling
DISABLE Overwolf
Make sure SteamVR desktop VR theater mode is disabled
Make sure your PC specs & drivers are up to date

OLD VERSIONS:
*BUG: There is one level bug in this game, which is in the Surprise chapter. It is the vertical light level, the portal can't hit the vertical light beam properly. I recommend playing that level in flatscreen until there is a fix.
