Event Mechanics Co. had the privilege of collaborating with a local Dallas Hotel for a Relaunch event titled "Coloring Outside the Lines." The NYLO Southside, now known as CANVAS Dallas, was rebranded as an art-focused hotel full of local art, spunk and creativity. Our team brought the event to life with interactive entertainment, coinciding décor and new, eye-catching event activations!


Our vision helped each space exemplify what CANVAS Dallas represents – originality. Guests felt like celebrities as they followed the custom Paint Splat Floor Graphics to the entrance of the one of a kind art-infused experience brought to life by eclectic sounds of a modern pianist and contemporary funk from an electric Violinist! Guests were immediately greeted by a living black carpet, paint smock paparazzi and a custom designed mystery wall where floating hands offered glasses of champagne!

The evening continued as guests took the elevators wrapped with custom floor graphics upstairs to the new rooftop lounge where they enjoyed liquid nitrogen cocktails, a live DJ, painter pallet food trays, pool performances, and a strolling photo ring that allowed guests to enjoy the evening without waiting in line. Each photo was then placed on a Mosaic Photo Wall where the guests got to become a piece of art that now hangs in the hotel lobby.
