Formed in 1977 in Brackley in Northamptonshire, U.K. by singer Ellie Hope and bassist Ray Knott, when Babe Ruth disbanded. Both of them had played in their last album "Kid's Stuff" in 1976. They recruited guitarist Syd Twynham and drummer Wally Rothe and they were named Dream Coupe.
