You must make the decision if getting an optically inferior lens (above) is worth the convenience of using broadcast-style zoom and focus control or not. I always recommend Panasonic LUMIX lenses for churches, specifically the 35-100mm f/2.8 and 12-35mm options, for their great optical quality, but they will require an external focus ring and control if you want the same kind of broadcast operation.
