Now, let's take a Delivery Order. This mode allows customers to place orders remotely for home delivery. The system keeps track of delivery addresses, order status, and delivery personnel.
To start, click on the 'Rooms' section, select the 'DELIVERY' tab at the top, and click 'New Order.' The system will display a list of all customers. You can search for a customer using the search field or add a new customer by clicking the 'Add New Customer' button. If the entered mobile number already exists, the system will auto-complete the customer details and select them automatically. If the customer does not exist, you can enter their details manually. Once all mandatory fields are filled in, click the 'Save' button to proceed.
If you want to edit the customer info, select the customer from the list. Click the 'Edit' button, and the edit customer window will appear, allowing you to modify the details as needed. If you want to change the customer, choose a new customer from the customer list.
If you want to remove a customer from this order, you can click the remove button for the selected customer.
Then, you can add some items from the item list and click the 'Order' button to proceed. Once done, the system will navigate to the previous orders and display the order invoice in the delivery list.
Now, to manage deliveries, return to the home page by clicking the back navigation button. From the home page, select the 'Delivery' option. This will open the Delivery module, where you can view and manage all delivery orders.
In this section, you will find a comprehensive list of all delivery orders, along with their relevant details. This includes customer information, order status, and the assigned delivery personnel. To modify order details, simply click the 'Edit' button. If you need to attach a note to an order, click the 'Order Note' button to add or select a predefined note. If you want to print a specific order, you can click the 'Print' button.
There are mainly three statuses: Preparing, Dispatched, and Completed. 'Preparing' means that once the order is placed, it enters the preparing status. When a delivery person is assigned and the order is out for delivery, the status changes to 'Dispatched'. Once the delivery person delivers the order and confirms the completion, the status changes to 'Completed'. Before completion, if you want to make a payment, you can click the 'Pay' button and settle the bill. Once settled and completed, the bill needs to be closed using the 'Close' button. Otherwise, the invoice will remain open in the delivery room and will not reflect in the reports.
If you want to perform bulk actions, you can select multiple orders by ticking the checkboxes for all or specific orders. The right side of the screen will display available actions. Additionally, if you want to search for a specific order, you can use the search field on the right side of the screen.
