HYPERSPIN WARNING!

A VERY IMPORTANT warning and some very important fixes that you need to know if you are a current HyperSpin User. Especially if you are a Pre Configured drive user OR if you are thinking of buying one.

The first half of this video is just me making sure that you have all the fixes that are needed when updating your HyperSpin and RocketLauncher setups. Please give me a shout if you have any problems. The second half is very depressing for me and turns my stomach. Please watch and that will be the last I say of it as I do not want this scene ruined by people like that. Let me know if you have been effected!


I do not want to give out too much information as it may do more harm than good. However if you are concerned about a drive you may have bought or just want peace of mind there are a couple of ways to see if its running.

1. Simply input Ctrl+Shift+Alt+F7

or

2. Start menu, click in search, type cmd and you will see the cmd program show up. Click this (looks like DOS/black and white.) Simply type "akstart" (no speach marks) and click enter.

If when you do either of the steps above a window pops up you have a naughty drive. Do not tell me, go straight to the police or whatever government agency in your country deals with Cyber Crime and listen to their guidance.


Even if you have no signs of this happening to you, please still do a full system scan with a trusted Virus software. Remember that Emulation and even Hyperspin/RocketLauncher use ahk files which can show as false positives so if you do have any alerts, dont just dismiss them as they could be vital to your setup and indeed safe. Instead check them out one by one.

I will always help anyone as much as I can, no matter how you started your HyperSpin hobby. But I do not warn you about these drives for the fun of it.

SOME WORDS OF WISDOM:
I try my best to inform people of the kind of pitfalls you open yourself up to when you buy these drives. You will have no comebacks when things go wrong.


Best thing you should do is report to the issuer of whoever you bought the drive through. Example Paypal, credit card company etc etc. You have bought copyrighted material, counterfeit goods so it is illegal to be sold such things and they should be reported immediately. Not only to get your money back, but so such organizations can pursue legal processes in damages.


Making money from selling copied games is highly illegal. the developers and those involved in transactions of any kind from the banking to the delivery are all held liable. Its one thing to have a few copied games in your collection. Its completely different to be selling these on mass.


What I say, copy the drive and report to national agencies and the above soonest. I do not know how these people can look their families in the face when they ask what you do for a living.... have some standards hehehe

I dont charge any money for anything here guys. If you want to trust the words from people charging... hehe thats your choice. but use your head and think about it? If your soo hell bent on buying a drive, you go for it... no skin off my nose ;)
