Now, we hardly need an excuse to do a little shopping. But as far as reasons to hit Barneys go, an upcoming trip to Paris is a pretty good one, n'est-ce pas?

The lovely and talented jewelry designer Jennifer Fisher had just such a reason. Along with a slew of other talented pals, including Greg Chait and Jennifer Meyer, Fisher is a part of the CFDA's Americans in Paris program, which brings select American designers to the City of Light to show their collections to international crowds during Paris Fashion Week. What does one wear to such an event? Glad you asked.

Fisher set out for Barneys with Fashion Director Tomoko Ogura, looking for ensembles perfect for work, dinners, and a celebratory glass of champagne or two. Balenciaga, Boy by Band of Outsiders, Marissa Webb, Givenchy, Kenzo, Saint Laurent, Acne Studios...let's just say she found a few pieces that worked.
