Janet Conner-Knox is an Emmy award-winning, independent journalist with multiple journalism awards for her writing. She made her screen debut in Brotherside Entertainment, LLC's narrative drama,"Un-Perfect" (opposite Christopher Mann of HBO’s "The Wire"). Onstage, she has regional theater production credits in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Washington, DC, Georgia, and North Carolina. A playwright, author, and director, she created and co-founded Vision Community Theatre (Wilson, NC). She is executive producer of the exciting upcoming Ray Shell drama, "Grayhound".

John G. McNeil was sentenced to life in a Georgia prison because he defended himself and his family's "castle" against an armed white trespasser's assault. His conviction was appealed. Justice did not prevail.

Jim Boykin is a former coach at Fike High School and part of a committee that is trying to help McNeil clear his name.
