Mixing Gouache; Forget About The Color Wheel

Описание к видео Mixing Gouache; Forget About The Color Wheel

Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday!

Gouache paint is an interesting medium. You can use it like you would use watercolors, but it's opaque and it dries matte. The way you can mix it, is quite different than when mixing watercolors, and today I am showing you a simple method that can give you an endless range of tones, using just the primary colors, and black and white. You'll be able to easily bring a lot of variation in your palette and still keep it consistent in color.

Materials used in this video:
-Bristol paper
-Reeves Gouache paint brilliant red, lemon yellow, prussian blue, black, white
-Synthetic brush no.6
-Tear-off mixing palette
