With a 690 GMAT and a 3.37 GPA from the University of Michigan where he majored in international economics and history, Brad is hoping to get into a top MBA program.

He brings some valuable work experience to the game, including a stint in Capital One’s highly selective rotational program where he was an analyst in the treasury and risk department. Brad then moved to L.A. to work for Open X, an advertising tech company, which also sent him to London for two years. And he now works in monetization for Pluto TV, recently acquired by Viacom.

His ultimate goal: To land a venture capital job. And his targets? Brad’s stretch schools are Northwestern Kellogg and Michigan Ross. But his first choice is the University of Texas’ McCombs School of Business, followed by Michigan and Vanderbilt University’s Owen School of Management.

What are his odds of getting in? In this episode of Fridays with Sandy, HBSGuru.com Founder Sandy Kreisberg assesses his chances and gives some valuable advice.
