DIY Steampunk Molds | Easy Project

Hey Art Friends! Welcome back to the Mandakyns Channel! Today's episode is about how I make a variety of DIY Steampunk Molds using Amazing Mold Putty and jewelry findings or other elements that I have gathered over the years.

I make mold set from clock faces, compasses, clock keys, steampunk gears and cogs, as well as hinges! I will be using these molds for a variety of crafts, so I thought I would share how I made them!

I will be using these molds to create elements that are repeatable and easy to duplicate. I was concerned that if I used the original I would have no way to replace that element or create copies. Some of these findings would be expensive to keep replacing from my local arts, craft, & hobby store. Therefore, this was a very cost effective method to preserve the pattern, texture, & shape of virtually any object. This mold putty is an excellent solution to the problem and will help you to memorialize any type of finding that you wish to make again and again!
