Porsche 981 S (315hp) vs. Audi S3 (300hp) - Acceleration & SOUND (1080p)

Quick Autobahn acceleration and Sound comparison between a 2014 Porsche 981 Boxster S (315hp,360Nm,1415kg) and the all new Audi S3 Sedan/Limousine (300hp, 380Nm, 1535kg) both shifted by double clutch transmissions (7-speed PDK and 6-speed S-Tronic) tested under very similar conditions. After I got my S3 I had several "races" with powerful cars on the Autobahn and the S3 did surprisingly good against Caymans, M235i and older 911s. Therefore I was very interested in testing the straight line performance in comparison finding out that the Porsche is only slightly faster up to a speed of 230 km/h then crawling away. Of course those two cars are not perfectly comparable but in real life it shows how far VAG has come with their lightweight MQB platform and the awesome 300 hp 2.0 TFSI (SportsCars tested 320hp and 400Nm).
