2 Days Before 2nd Transfer

Here is a peek into my IVF Journey in 2020/21. I had two retrievals and one successful transfer. In October 2021 I delivered a healthy baby.

During my journey I first tried IUI (2 cycles, 2x each) and then moved onto IVF. My first retrieval resulted in no viable embryos. However my second transfer led to one healthy embryo. Additionally, the embryo was genetically tested and normal. My second retrieval I also did acupuncture which I share about. I went to a fertility institute after I realized my OBGYN doctor and nurse were not taking my case seriously. At the institute they did all the appropriate testing and informed me IVF was the best option for me.
