THE STORY OF A UNIQUE MATERNITY SESSION AT THE ROYAL NORTH SHORE HOSPITAL
We have done the most unique maternity session in the studio's history a few weeks ago.
Due to medical issues, our client ended up in hospital just days before her planned maternity session. She was told that she would need to stay in hospital, under constant medical supervision until the baby is born. She and her partner were desperate for maternity photos, so they asked doctors what they could do.
Three days later we got the green light to do a short session in and around the hospital. My talented makeup artist did mum's makeup and hair in the hospital room, then we just went for a walk around the building and captured images of the expecting couple. We even brought a few maternity photoshoot gowns for mum to choose from.
Surprisingly, there are lots of beautiful places around the Royal North Shore Hospital and we managed to find some really nice spots and backgrounds for the images.
It was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. We received a lot of lovely comments from people walking by and we probably made the local football team's training very special and a bit more fun than usual.
The lovely couple had their little baby girl a few days later and luckily she is growing and improving well. Hopefully she will be ready to go home very soon. A huge congratulations to them and wishing them lots of joy and happiness!
