Hey lords and lasses! In Weekend Wankshop 92, you're going to get a sweet lesson with Uncle Ben Eller about the killer Cm lick Billy Gibbons plays at the top of his epic ZZ Top La Grange solo! This lick is based on the minor pentatonic scale, and features some very cool note targeting; note targeting is the divine Shredi Knight art of nailing the notes found in the chord you're playing against within the scale you're using at that time. I'm thinking i'll do a full You Suck at Guitar lesson on this sometime. For now, we'll explore how you can find notes of a Cm arpeggio within the minor pentatonic scale. Valuable info!!!
