The Secret to Success in Medical School | ND MD

The secret to success in medical school is not anything complicated, and honestly will be disappointing to most of you guys. Med YouTube is filled with the generic "how I study for 12+ hours straight videos" and it has a lot of pre-meds, and admittedly a lot of medical students in search for a single magic pill or shot that will boost them to instant productivity in med school. But the answer is not the 4 am cold showers, or the Pomodoro method, it's a willingness to embrace change and the courage to step out of your comfort zone when things aren't working. Med school throws you plenty of curveballs and one swing does not and will not work for every pitch. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Don't be insane. Improvise, adapt, overcome.
