WHY THIS VIDEO…

This video posting aims to learn and chant during our Liturgical Celebrations. To make the learning easy, towards the end of this video, each part of the polyphonic is presented separately. Make use of Social Media to learn. I believe this will be a great help to the choir to learn and sing the chorus in polyphonic because “Singing in POLYPHONIC is really Catholic”– Pope Benedict.

Preserve me, O God,
for in you I take refuge.

O LORD, it is you who are my portion and cup;
you yourself who secure my lot.
I keep the LORD before me always;
with him at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

And so, my heart rejoices, my soul is glad;
even my flesh shall rest in hope.
For you will not abandon my soul to hell,
nor let your holy one see corruption.

You will show me the path of life,
the fullness of joy in your presence,
(the tune of 3rd line is omitted)
at your right hand, bliss forever.
