Pritam Bhartwan is a folk singer from Uttarakhand, India. In 2019, he was conferred with the "Padma Shri" honour by the president of India, Ram Nath Kovind, for his contribution to the field of traditional folk art. He is also known as "Jagar Samrat" since he has presented millions of ways to evoke the essence of "Jagar" and the value of connection with the roots via Music and Tradition.

He has received many awards by state government and central government of India. He is also visiting professor in Cincinnati University and University of Illinois. Apart from this, he is very well versed with the knowledge of Human interaction with Music, and its existence and impact on Humans.

He is also referred as " The Pride of Uttarakhand" in most of the places in Uttarakhand, India due to his contribution towards, culture, music, and tradition.
