We take a look at one of my jumper's who uses a hitch-hang.
In the Short you will see my technical analysis and comments on what's working and what needs more work.
Of course I have not been able to cover everything in 60sec - however, I hope that what I have will provide you with some ideas and thoughts if you are a hitch-hang jumper or coach this style.
Much of what happens at take-off is determined by how the jumper runs and how they set the jump up.
This jumper has improved his running so that he is travelling more forwards down the run-up. He used to move more up and down which was largely due to him not using his hips as effectively as he should. This forward momentum once built up makes it easier to transfer into the take-off.
