Grim Railway Subway at High Wycombe Railway Station

Not to be mistaken for the former subway for Railway Passengers between the two platforms which has recently been replaced by a footbridge. This tunnel allow people from Totteridge to get into High Wycombe without using the Railway Bridge on Amersham Road also to cut through directly to Wycombe Rye & Wycombe Lide . It connects Gordon Road with the defunct Station Rd (The Station Rd which won't get you to the station) except by the more imaginatively named Birdcage Walk. Although I call the subway grim it does have a certain charm.

The tunnel I guess goes back to the days of High Wycombe Station at least a 100 years old.
