The anime review is about Earl Ciel Phantomhive who, at the request of Queen Victoria, goes to Weston College to find a relative of the queen who has been missing for months. Ciel, a 13-year-old with noble status, enrolls at the prestigious public academy, and his butler, Sebastian Michaelis, takes on a teaching position at the school. However, Ciel is unable to locate the missing relative on campus and cannot request a meeting with the headmaster who may have information about the disappearance. The headmaster is only in contact with the heads of the college dormitories, known as the Prefect 4 (P4): Edgar Redmond, Lawrence Bluewer, Herman Greenhill, and Gregory Violet. To succeed in his mission, Ciel must win the favor of the P4 and use their connections, but the college and its students conceal many secrets, making his task more challenging than he expected.
