How to Push a Car with One Hand!

Hey everyone, this is a VFX/special effect short film centered around How to Push a Car with One Hand. It's got some cool editing/transitions made in Adobe Premiere Elements 12 which was inspired by some of the ones Casey Neistat uses and the one in the Patreon video. The Iron Fist glow, super strength, car push, and car jump were all created in Adobe After Effects CC.

MINI TUTORIAL: For the Iron Fist hand glow, duplicate the footage and mask around the fist. Keyframe the mask position to move with the hand. Then apply the glow effect and mess around with the glow threshhold, radius, and intensity until it works for your particular scene. For the super strength, lay your footage over a clean plate and mask around the punching bag. Keyframe the punching bag to move backwards as the fist hits it. For the car push, film a blank shot with no one in the car in addition to the shot where you move the car, having somewhere in the car driving. Place the blank shot footage over the main layer and mask around the drivers seat window. Keyframe the window to follow the car as it moves. In order to create a scene like the one where I jump over the car, film two clips. One with the actor jumping while the car isn't there and another of the car moving through scene. Mask out the car, overlay it over the footage, and time it with the jump. Create a difference matte of the actor (or rotoscope or use a green screen) and then keyframe the position upwards over the car.
