In this thrilling video, join me as I dive into the New Game+ mode of God of War Ragnarok. Having completed the main story, I’m now equipped with all my hard-earned gear and skills, ready to face the challenges anew. Let’s explore what’s different in this mode and discover the exciting additions:

Carry Over Your Progress: New Game+ allows us to replay the entire game while retaining everything we unlocked from our previous playthrough. That means Kratos starts with his upgraded equipment, skills, and resources.
Increased Level Cap: We’ll push Kratos to the limit as the level cap has been raised to Level 10. To achieve this, we’ll need to upgrade our armor, weapons, and attachments to Level 9 and then convert them at a Dwarven Shop. Atreus’ gear remains unchanged, so his combat will be more challenging this time around.
New Resources: Exclusive to New Game+, we’ll encounter rare resources like Skap Slag, Primal Flames, Celestial Fossils, Forsaken Breath, and Mountain Roots. These materials allow us to craft the most powerful equipment available.
Armor Sets: We’ll showcase some of the new armor sets, including the returning Spartan, Ares, and Zeus sets. Additionally, we’ll don the Black Bear Armor, which Kratos wears during the game’s prologue.
Shop Upgrades: Sindri’s House becomes accessible after completing the “Surviving Fimbulwinter” Path Quest. Here, we can upgrade our Level 9 equipment further and access expanded shop resources.
Cosmetic Options: If you completed the free Valhalla DLC, you’ll unlock a new general appearance for Kratos. Press R3 in the Weapons or Armor menus to switch to this fresh look.
