Triangle Strategy: Roland's Battle | Hard, deathless/no revives, no items, no quietus

I FINALLY beat this dude, I never ever realized you could place units by Svarog, I feel like an idiot. But fortunately... That was the boost I needed to be able to efficiently deal with him. I didn't expect to kill him with the spring trap but oh well, I really wanted Svarog to kill him TBH.

This battle has a LOT of spike damage in one area, you'll absolutely want 2 or more archers on that iron gate, once you kill the birds and some of the melee units, you can start going in and fury everyone, just be careful about Gustadolph, if you're sure in your ability to kill the mages and healers, you can wait for a while then maybe use someone like milo to prevent Gustadolph from ever getting any TP.

But in that meantime, any overcommitment is a death sentence. You NEED to be cautious.
