A super fun morning on my 1st day of fishing on the Dunajec River, Poland. The river was a tinge of green which was good for fishing. My good friend and guide Wojtek Kudlacz, Fly Fishing in Poland, took me to his favorite stretch of the river where the big browns are on the far side, with fast and deep pools.

As in the past, getting these browns requires some aggressive wading for a petite woman like me, but I always am confident that Wojtek will take care of me and get me to the best spots.

A really productive morning euro nymphing, caught over a dozen nice browns, what a great start to my Poland fly fishing trip! Thank you so much Wojtek for a fabulous morning of fishing.
