🌾 Restaurant-Style Fluffy Basmati Rice Recipe:

Ingredients

Basmati rice – 1 cup

Water – 2 cups (for regular texture)
(2.5 cups for softer rice, 1.75 cups for firmer grains)

Salt – ½ tsp (optional)

Oil or ghee – 1 tsp (optional, keeps grains separate)


Method (Open Pot)

1. Rinse – Wash basmati rice 2–3 times until water runs clear.


2. Soak – Soak for 20–30 minutes.


3. Boil – In a deep pan, boil water with salt and oil/ghee.


4. Add rice – Drain soaked rice, add to boiling water, and cook.


5. Check & Serve – Once cooked, drain off the water.
Transfer to a plate.
✨ Your restaurant-style fluffy basmati rice is ready to enjoy with dal, curry, or raita.
