Troobleshooting a WEBER 32/36 DGAV Carburettor on a Pinto engine Kit car

Описание к видео Troobleshooting a WEBER 32/36 DGAV Carburettor on a Pinto engine Kit car

Here, Chris shows us how he cured a fault in the fuelling supply on a Ford-based kitcar fitted with a pinto engine.

Customer complained that the car wouldn't rev and take-off... It kept bogging down.

Ends up tthat the fuel return line was not fitted correctly and the low-pressure pump was not sending enough fuel into the carburettor, and was just sending the fuel back to the tank.

Also the ignition timing was way out, which was also corrected.

This little faults can be a pesky nuisance, and it takes sometimes, someone with an experience eye - like Chris - to help cure the fault and return the car back to a happy owner, who can enjoy driving it and use the car as it was intended to be used : )

Be good to see him do a burnout with it someday lol!!

Thanks for reading and watching.

If you have any request for similar treatment to your car, or just technical help, let us know please : )

Hope you found this video useful and informative.

Thanks,

Emmanuel and Chris
