Days like this make me wish we could chain the trucks down. But days like this also make my job a little more entertaining! The loud hydraulic whines heard on the lower decks are the rudder actuators making near constant course corrections. The reason the coastal class double-end ships feel the waves so much more is because of the flat bottom hull and relatively shallow draft considering the overall size and tonnage of the ships.
