This is a completely fresh take on a forgotten Henry Mancini gem, Anywhere the Heart Goes—originally composed for the 1983 TV miniseries The Thorn Birds. While it’s only been re-recorded with vocals three times since, I’ve reimagined it in a light, playful Latin style featuring just piano and bass. This minimalist arrangement brings a new emotional color to the melody—intimate, rhythmic, and refreshingly modern.

In October 2024, I brought to life a deeply personal project — Henry Mancini Songbook — an album dedicated to both Mancini’s iconic songs and rare vocal gems that haven’t been recorded in years.
