The King Gong show is a monthly stand-up comedy show run at The Comedy Store London in front of a sold out crowd of 400 people. 3 random members of the audience are assigned as judges, who can put up a card at any point if they do not like the comedian. The comedian loses if all 3 judges raise their cards and is made to leave immediately. The objective is for comedians to last 5 minutes on stage.

A winner is chosen amongst the comedians who beat the gong through an audience clap off.

(Last time I lasted 11 seconds and this time I won, so I am both historically one of The Comedy Store’s worst ever comedians and best too)
