Transform Gelli Prints into Stunning Mixed Media Collage Art!

Today I’m diving into mixed media collage using my collection of Gelli prints to create a stunning artwork from start to finish! I often get asked, “What do you do with all your Gelli prints?”—and here’s the answer. Watch as I guide you through creating a gorgeous gel print image transfer using one of my Italian door photos, setting a unique focal point for this piece. Then, I’ll show you how to build a cohesive colour palette from an array of vibrant Gelli prints and glorious Kozo paper, bringing layers of texture and depth to the composition.

We’ll work together on arranging the collage elements on a 12" canvas, and I’ll share pro tips on finishing the edges for a polished, gallery-quality look. I’ll also discuss my go-to adhesive, tips for strong layering, and how to adjust the layout until it feels just right. To complete the artwork, I add a beautiful, rose gold key stencil as a final touch, creating a piece full of character and shine.
