We expected this election to go down to the wire and it delivered just that. BJP led coalition NDA managed to make a majority but opposition defies predictions.

While the exit polls suggested a clear win for BJP, the results show the reality. Weaker mandate wasn’t taken up by the street well. PSE index was down 19% during the day while many PSU stocks, irrespective of the sector continued to hit lower circuits.

HAL, BEL, REC, PFC, BEL, BHEL, SAIL and many stocks were down 25%. While most other PSU & Adani group stocks were down anywhere between 10-20%.
