Friends, today I am sharing SAMA PANCHAM NI THALI RECIPE | RISHI PANCHMI NI THALI RECIPE. Today I made two delicious items using SAMA (English-Barnyard Millet, ગુજરાતી - સામો / મોરૈયો) and other two items from Rajgira (Amarnath) as under.
(1) SAMA NI FARALI KHANDVI (સામા ની ફરાળી ખાટી મીઠી ખાંડવી)
(2) SAMA NI FARALI KHICHDI (સામા ની ફરાળી ખીચડી)
(3) RAJGIRA FARALI SHIRA (રાજગરા નો ફરાળી શીરો)
(4) RAJGIRA FARALI KADHI (રાજગરાની ફરાળી કઢી)
Rishi Panchmi (Sama Pancham in Gujarat) is observed on fifth day of shukla paksha in the Bhadrapada month. It falls usually after Ganesh Chaturthi. Rishi Panchami is actually a festival day, but people observe fast on this day. Rishi Panchmi is dedicated to the Saptarishis. Lord Brahma conceived the seven sages -- Vishvamitra, Atri, Kashyapa, Gautama Maharishi, , Bharadwaja, Vashishtha and Jamadagni who guided human race through ages and this auspicious day is for celebrating their immense contribution.

SAMA KHICHDI
½ cup sama (सामा)
1 tbsp pure ghee (शुध्ध घी)
½ tsp cumin seeds (जीरा)
Curry leaves (कड़ी पत्ते)
Chopped green chilies (हरी मिर्च)
1 bowl grated bottle gourd (लौकी)
½ tsp sendha salt (सेंधा नमक)
½ tsp black pepper (काली मिर्च)
1 cup water (पानी)
½ cup water (पानी)
Chopped coriander leaves (हरा धनिया)
SAMA KHANDVI
¾ cup sama (सामा)
¾ cup sour buttermilk (खट्टी छाछ)
¼ cup water (पानी)
Half glass water (पानी)
½ tsp sendha salt (सेंधा नमक)
Oil (तेल)
2 tsp oil (तेल)
½ tsp cumin seeds (जीरा)
Curry leaves (कड़ी पत्ते)
Chopped green chilli (हरी मिर्च)
Little water (पानी)
¾ tsp sugar (चीनी)
FARALI RAJGIRA KADHI
1 glass sour buttermilk (खट्टी छाछ)
⅛ cup rajgira flour (राजगिरा आटा)
1 glass water (पानी)
1 tbsp pure ghee (शुध्ध घी)
½ tsp cumin seeds (जीरा)
Curry leaves (कड़ी पत्ते)
Chopped green chilli (हरी मिर्च)
½ tsp black pepper (काली मिर्च)
½ tsp sendha salt (सेंधा नमक)
1 tsp sugar (चीनी)
Chopped coriander leaves (हरा धनिया)
FARALI RAJGIRA SHEERA
Half cup water (पानी)
¼ cup sugar (चीनी)
¼ cup pure ghee (शुध्ध घी)
½ cup rajgira flour (राजगिरा आटा)
1 tbsp pure ghee (शुध्ध घी)
Cardamom powder (इलाइची)
Chopped cashews (काजू)
