Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh has strongly condemned the "cowardly and unprovoked" attacks on L. Kabichandra, a video journalist who sustained bullet injuries during a gunfight between armed terrorists and security forces in Thamnopokpi and Sansabi areas of Imphal East. Kabichandra, who works with a private television channel, was injured in his left thigh. The Chief Minister assured that adequate security personnel would be deployed to the affected areas to ensure safety and security.
