I manage to kill them but then I screw up (which is why EVERY move matters) and instead of equipping my dagger, I left my new bow equipped.

The key here is simple - make sure the guys are standing far apart, try to drain their ammo supply, have a shield and absolutely have heroic charge.

I was kind of salty though, this particular vendor really didn't have anything that good. I mostly just killed him for the sake of killing him.

Then buy it on Steam - its cheap AF and worth the $4.99 - I have 183 hrs on record at this point and still am completely terrible at the game. This game is a HARD but rewarding game. As you unlock heritages it gets more and more awesome - because now your guy is a bit tougher. Everytime you die, you start over. There is no saving, which can be maddening for long runs, but its also rewarding when you get to level 12 or so it gets damned near impossible to beat.

The only thing that bugs me about this - I've unlocked some heritages on offline mode (road trip) and when I'm logged into epixx servers, I can't use them.
