We begin by hiking up the iconic Mam Tor from Castleton. On the way, we glide through the dramatic limestone gorge of Winnats Pass, see the historic ruins of Peveril Castle, and of course, explore the iconic village of Castleton with its many showcaves.

2:02 - Giddy Edge Hike (from Matlock to Matlock Bath)

We then challenged ourselves with the Giddy Edge Hike, a thrilling trail from Matlock to Matlock Bath that offers panoramic vistas and heart-pumping excitement along a narrow cliff edge... Not great for Eli's fear of heights!

3:23 - The Monsal Trail (Monsal Head Viaduct)

After this, we follow the historic Monsal Trail and marvel at the engineering feat of the Monsal Head Viaduct. Just off this trail you can find the serene Chee Dale, where the River Wye carves its way through the limestone, creating a peaceful haven for wildlife and walkers alike along with its iconic stepping stones.
