Following the teachers and students’ digital growth accelerated by the pandemic, there have been an ever growing number of courses being delivered with synchronous and asynchronous components, especially for adult learners. In such a current scenario and taking into consideration the profile and the learning needs of these students, it’s key to provide and encourage their agency in the process as to obtain more concrete results.

The concept of student agency, as understood in the context of the OECD Learning Compass 2030, is defined as the capacity to set a goal, reflect and act responsibly to effect change.
