Using NVIVO for Content Analysis with Ziad Al Achkar

The session will be an introduction to NVIVO and content analysis. In this session, we will go over the process of qualitatively coding documents using NVIVO to extract insights! We will learn about the different features that NVIVO offers to make sense of the coded data and how it can help researchers identify findings and look for connections in their data.

Featured Speaker: Ziad Al Achkar is a PhD candidate at the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution, and a Research Associate with the Better Evidence Project. Ziad's research focuses on the use of digital technologies and remote sensing by humanitarian and peacebuilding organizations. Ziad looks at the role that data collection and surveillance plays in this sector, and how to develop and design responsible and ethical practices.
