Truly Tragic Details About Mama June

June “Mama June” Shannon is the mother of the well known pageant princess, Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson from the TLC show Toddlers and Tiaras. Mama June and her family have been scrutinized in the media for the way the look and act. After seeing how they acted on Toddlers and Tiaras, TLC thought it would be a great opportunity to give them their own reality TV show called Here Comes Honey Boo Boo in 2012. Though the show was cancelled in 2014, a spinoff was announced in 2017- the media just cant give them a break.
