The Nez Cassé CP2600 locomotive has always been my favorite locomotive since childhood.

My first MOC as AFOL was a 6 studs wide model I made in 2008, however, I recently wanted to make a new one on a higher detail scale.

I was already a fan of the 8 studs wide Nez Cassé NS 1800 built by Raised.
I sent a message to Raised saying that I’m a fan of his work and questioning whether he didn't mind using the same construction techniques to make the shape of this locomotive.
They are similar, the CP2600 and the NS1600 are based on the french BB7200, however, the CP2600 has many different details on the roof, on the bogies, on the sides, and even on the windscreen. Raised responded positively, and inspired by his model, I created this locomotive.

The CP2600 fleet has recently been recovered by CP Comboios de Portugal and put back into service. CP also bought ARCO carriages from Renfe and gave them a new life.

I Entered with this model ate the Brick train Awards 2022 and won the Best European consist

I also decided to build these carriages in LEGO to complete the train.

This Locomotive is part of a project where Raised, Urban Erwin, Nicolas Tbx, and myself in a partnership with HA bricks will be released premium instructions for various models Nez Cassé based on the BB7200, and the first is scheduled for the end of this year and will be the Dutch version NS1600
