Скачать или смотреть AMD RADEON RX 6800 vs 6900XT - Do I REGRET not buying the BEST?

For the last 2 years, my main use graphics card has been AMD’s RX 6800 - the bottom of the ladder when it comes to Navi 2’s launch lineup sitting firmly behind the RX 6800XT and the RX 6900XT in terms of both prestige and price. In steams latest hardware survey we can see that both the 6800XT and the 6900XT make it onto the chart - no easy task for a big AMD card - and the lowly 6800 does not even make an appearance.

I’ve got my hands on this now though. Gigabytes RX 6900XT Gaming OC. AMDs halo launch card which was only superseded as the top of the Radeon stack 6 months ago by the RX 6950 XT which itself is simply a slightly higher clocked RX 6900XT with a bit faster VRAM to boot.

So today's question is a simple one. Now that I have the Halo card in hand - and a third party one at that with a better cooler and more in case presence. Do I regret not just going all out at the launch and buying the best I could? Or is the very idea that you need the top top end a bit of a fallacy?

And with the New RX 7900 XT & XTX cards launching soon along with the Inlfated RTX 4080 and blisteringly fast RTX 4090 already on the market do you REALLY need to be buying "The Best"
