We are a father and son duo dedicated to creating the world's finest patterned metal jewelry. Steve has been in the Mokume Gane and Damascus Steel jewelry business for more than 40 years. In 2012 Jacob brought his creative talents and energy to join him in creating Steven Jacob Jewelry. We work closely together to design and make our jewelry and enjoy challenging and inspiring each other to keep pushing the limits of what is possible in our craft. We have an awesome time working together 95% of the time and the other 5% of the time we behave just like any other father and son.

Steven Jacob offers the most sophisticated and unique Damascus Steel and Mokume wedding bands in the world. Contrary to other rings on the market, our rings offer a full 360 degrees of mesmerizing pattern. Our all stainless steel, solid, Damascus rings utilize the highest quality marine grade stainless steels. They meet or exceed European Union nickel release standards and will not corrode, tarnish, or react with your skin. We NEVER use copper, brass, carbon steel, wood, bone, plastic, or other inferior materials not suitable for a wedding band you will wear for the rest of your life. Great customer service is a huge priority of ours. You will be communicating with us personally throughout the whole ordering/making process. All Steven Jacob rings are sizable and seamless. You will never have to buy another or trade it in if your ring size changes. Our rings have a comfort fit interior, lustrous finish, and generously rounded edges for optimum wearability. • Damascus Steel is the popular name given to a layered patterned metals technique that was used by ancient blacksmiths to create superior swords, armor, and weaponry because of its incredible strength and beauty. Steve Midgett and his son Jacob are two of the most celebrated and highly regarded artists today working with this demanding material. The Damascus used for these rings is created in-house by patented methods and used exclusively for Steven Jacob jewelry. The two metals used in each ring are permanently forged welded together, then carved, twisted, and formed into a ring. After crafting the ring, We acid etch it to bring out the pattern of the metal and then glass bead blast it for a lustrous matte finish. If you prefer, a high polish finish is available upon request. • We put a lot of hard work and creative energy into making quality, durable rings that will delight and fascinate you for many, years. You will not find a finer patterned metal ring anywhere.
