Curator's Tour | Intertwined: Transpacific, Transcultural Philippines

The exhibition, Intertwined: Transpacific-Transcultural Philippines, illuminates the Filipino’s transcultural heritage resulting from pre- and post-colonial maritime exchanges with diverse cultures in Asia, the Americas, and Europe.

In this video, the curator, Dr. Florina H. Capistrano-Baker, takes us through the eight sections of the exhibition and discusses how our various political, cultural, and economic relations brought about the “Filipino.”
